Mayan Calendar and the Galactic Alignment

By Keith Hunter

The Long Count Mayan Calendar – A 13 Baktun Countdown

"Quite a number of well respected researchers in the field of Maya Studies have attested to the fact that in all likelihood, the Maya of Central America were well aware of the astronomical phenomenon that is precession [1]. And indeed, knowledge of this celestial motion is critical, were one to attempt to forecast a future alignment of the earth at winter solstice, the sun, and the galactic equator of the Milky Way.

Now, as already stated elsewhere, it is the general consensus that the Maya established the Long Count Calendar system sometime in the mid first millennium BC. And also, as per the work of certain theorists not entirely a part of the mainstream, that their express intention in doing so was to synchronise the completion of 13 Baktun periods with the noted future alignment involving the galactic equator. (NB: 1 Baktun = 144000 days. See the Long Count for a complete breakdown of the time cycles as compose the calendar). This theory thus clearly posits a singular purpose for the Long Count Mayan Calendar.

In the work of John M. Jenkins, whom one may regard as perhaps the most prominent individual in support of the ‘galactic alignment theory’, it is often stated that the Maya targeted an era - specifically the present era - when the purported galactic alignment would occur. This would appear to be a subtle way of saying that, whilst of course they strove for accuracy, extreme accuracy would not appear to have been essential to the venture which was their calendar. And thus essentially, sometime circa 500 BC, after conducting numerous observations that may well have stretched back in time many hundreds of years, the Maya fixed the Long Count to deliberately target what they had determined to be the closest earth winter solstice, as would coincide with a future sun-galactic equator crossover."

Experts: Plenty of Mayan prophecies, but none of 2012 apocalypse

Experts stressed that the ancient Mayas, whose 'classic' culture of writing, astronomy and temple complexes flourished from A.D. 300 to 900, were extremely interested in future events, far beyond Dec. 21.

Harvest Full Moon in Aries

The Harvest Full Moon is always the Full Moon nearest the Fall Equinox. And in 2012 the Sept. 29 Aries Full Moon fits the bill. This lunation is extremely energetic, as not only does it occur in Mars ruled Aries, but it conjoins highly charged Uranus which is currently square Pluto. Of course, this epic square is the game-changing global transit for next 3 years- and when it gets triggered by quickly moving factors, major world events tend to occur. Thus, we may assume that the process of building on the ruins of the old and revolution (Uranus/Pluto), will be stimulated by the Harvest Full Moon.
From Asia & Mideast
Theres a more subtle but potent contact between Mars (lord of the Full Moon), Pluto, and the Moons fateful North Node, which reflects super-human power and strength that could move mountains if wisely harnessed- or erupt in violent explosiveness otherwise.

On a personal level, if one wishes to take bold action and assert initiative, this is the optimal Full Moon under which to do so. Just be sure to check your overblown ego at the door and avoid petty power struggles. The tendency to behave rashly or impulsively is exacerbated.

Mundanely, it's no surprise to find this dynamically powerful Aries Full Moon is strongly focused in the flash-point nation of Syria, where conditions seem to be getting worse and worse. But then again, it's hard to know what is actually happening on the ground there, and what is media spin propagated by the US, NATO, Israel, etc.- as clearly these entities have their own agendas and a stake in the final outcome.

From Solstice to Equinox to Solstice

From Images 108
Yesterday was an equinox, a date when day and night are equal. Today, and every day until the next equinox, the night will be longer than the day in Earth's northern hemisphere, and the day will be longer than the night in Earth's southern hemisphere. An equinox occurs midway between the two solstices, when the days and nights are the least equal. The picture is a composite of hourly images taken of the Sun above Bursa, Turkey on key days from solstice to equinox to solstice. The bottom Sun band was taken during the winter solstice in 2007 December, when the Sun could not rise very high in the sky nor stay above the horizon very long. This lack of Sun caused winter. The top Sun band was taken during the summer solstice in 2008 June, when the Sun rose highest in the sky and stayed above the horizon for more than 12 hours. This abundance of Sun caused summer. The middle band was taken during the Vernal Equinox in 2008 March, but it is the same sun band that Earthlings saw yesterday, the day of the Autumnal Equinox.
(APOD)

The Summer Triangle

The Summer Triangle consists of three bright stars in three separate constellations. The stars are Vega in the constellation Lyra, Deneb in the constellation Cygnus, and Altair in the constellation Aquila. These stars should be clearly visible, despite the glare of tonight’s waxing gibbous moon. As seen from mid-northern latitudes, the Summer Triangle will shine way high above the moon on these next few nights.

The Summer Triangle is prominent on summer evenings, but now, as autumn begins, we still have several months to watch this large asterism (an asterism is just a noticeable pattern of stars). This huge star pattern looms from south to overhead in the autumn evening sky. After the moon drops out of the evening sky toward the end of the first week of October 2012, look for the glowing band of stars that we call the Milky Way running right through the Summer Triangle. More Then You Ever Wanted to Know About the Equinox

From EarthSky:

The 2012 Autumnal Equinox occurs on September 22, at 7:49 a.m. PDT (14:49 Universal Time).

In the Northern Hemisphere, the sun is rising later now, and nightfall comes sooner. The time of the autumn equinox is here, when the days are getting shorter, and day and night are approximately equal in length.

For us in the Northern Hemisphere, people are enjoying the cooler days of autumn even as preparations for winter are underway. South of the equator, spring begins.

Analemma

From Images 108
An analemma is that figure-8 curve that you get when you mark the position of the Sun at the same time each day throughout planet Earth's year. In this case, 17 individual images taken at 0231 UT on dates between April 2 and September 16 follow half the analemma curve, looking east toward the rising sun and the Caspian sea from the boardwalk in the port city of Baku, Azerbaijan. With the sun nearest the horizon, those dates almost span the period between the 2012 equinoxes on March 20 and September 22. The northern summer Solstice on June 20 corresponds to the top of the figure 8 at the left, when the Sun stood at its northernmost declination. Of course, this year the exposure made on June 6 contained a little something extra. Slightly enhanced, the little black spot on the bright solar disk near the top of the frame is planet Venus, caught in a rare transit during this well-planned sunrise analemma project. (APOD)

A Solar Filament Erupts

From Images 108
What's happened to our Sun? Nothing very unusual -- it just threw a filament. At the end of last month, a long standing solar filament suddenly erupted into space producing an energetic Coronal Mass Ejection (CME). The filament had been held up for days by the Sun's ever changing magnetic field and the timing of the eruption was unexpected. Watched closely by the Sun-orbiting Solar Dynamics Observatory, the resulting explosion shot electrons and ions into the Solar System, some of which arrived at Earth three days later and impacted Earth's magnetosphere, causing visible aurorae. Loops of plasma surrounding an active region can be seen above the erupting filament in the ultraviolet image. If you missed this auroral display please do not despair -- over the next two years our Sun will be experiencing a solar maximum of activity which promises to produce more CMEs that induce more Earthly auroras. (APOD)

The Rest of September

Not only is Pluto stationary direct this week, but it's currently parallel (similar to a conjunction) the Moons fateful North Node. Reinhold Ebertin has for the Pluto/Node principle; "The common destiny of a large mass of people." And if the Nodes are indeed linked to our personal and collective destiny, then this Pluto-Node contact suggests the possibility for a profound and fundamental shift in direction. Of course, the epic Uranus-Pluto square continues to inform the natural, political, and cultural environment for next few years. And it's imperative to determine what is actually sustainable long-term, and what is not. The less energy we use trying to hold onto the outworn and outmoded that needs to be released, the more energy we'll have to embrace the new- as uncertain as it seems.

Sept. 15~ New Moon at 23 Virgo 37.

Sept. 16~ Mercury enters Libra.

Sept. 17~ Pluto stations-direct after being retrograde since April 10.
"To summarize the consensus of contemporary astrologers: Pluto is associated with the principle of elemental power, depth, and intensity; with that which compels, empowers, and intensifies whatever it touches, sometimes to overwhelming and catastrophic extremes; with the primordial instincts, libidinal and aggressive, destructive and regenerative, volcanic and cathartic, eliminative, transformative, ever-evolving; with the biological processes of birth, sex, and death, the cycle of death and rebirth; with upheaval, breakdown, decay, and fertilization; violent purgatorial discharge of pent-up energies, purifying fire; situations of life-and-death extremes, power struggles, all that is titanic, potent, and massive. Pluto represents the underworld and underground in all senses: elemental, geological, instinctual, political, social, sexual, urban, criminal, mythological, demonic. It is the dark, mysterious, taboo, and often terrifying reality that lurks beneath the surface of things, beneath the ego, societal conventions, and the veneer of civilization, beneath the surface of the Earth, that is periodically unleashed with destructive and transformative force. Pluto impels, burns, consumes, transfigures, resurrects. In mythic and religious terms, it is associated with all myths of descent and transformation, and with all deities of destruction and regeneration, death and rebirth: Dionysus, Hades and Persephone, Pan, Medusa, Lilith, Innana, Isis and Osiris, the volcano goddess Pele, Quetzalcoatl, the Serpent power, Kundalini, Shiva, Kali, Shakti.

Closely analogous to Freud's concept of the primordial id, "the broiling cauldron of the instincts," and to Darwin's understanding of an ever-evolving nature and the biological struggle for existence, the archetype associated with the planet Pluto is also linked to Nietzsche's Dionysian principle and the will to power and to Schopenhauer's blind striving universal will—all these embodying the powerful forces of nature and emerging from nature's chthonic depths, within and without, the intense, fiery elemental underworld" (Cosmos and Psyche, 99). ~Archai: The Journal of Archetypal Cosmology

Sept. 18~ Second of seven epic squares between Uranus and Pluto.

Sept. 22~ The Autumnal/Fall Equinox, and First Quarter Moon at 0 Capricorn- aka the Aries Point.

Sept. 28~ The Moon crosses the equator at 0 north declination.

Drawing of the Ring Nebula

From Images 108
A planetary nebula with a simple symmetry familiar to telescopic sky gazers, the Ring Nebula (M57) is some 2,000 light-years away in the musical constellation Lyra. Hints of changing colors and subtle details are brought out in this remarkable sketch of the cosmic ring. The sketch was made with 800x magnification and excellent seeing conditions directly at the eyepiece of a 40 inch reflecting telescope. Colored pencils on white paper were used to create the original drawing, shown here digitally scanned with an inverted palette applied. About one light-year across, the nebula is composed of outer layers expelled from a dying, once sun-like star. Intense ultraviolet light from the hot central star ionizes atoms in the gas and powers the nebular glow. Ionized hydrogen adds a reddish tint. Ionized oxygen produces a characteristic blue-green color. Difficult to see under average conditions with small telescopes, the Ring Nebula's central star was visible at all times during Frédéric Burgeot's study. (APOD)

Mars and Antares

Mars and Antares are visible low in the southwest after sunset September 15. Antares, marking the Scorpion's heart, is a red supergiant and the brightest star in Scorpio. The name Antares means "Rival of Ares," or "Rival of Mars," since Mars is the Roman name for Ares, the Greek god of war, and its red color gives it the appearance of the planet Mars. Antares is one of the four royal stars of Persia and it marked the Autumnal Equinox roughly 3000 years ago. Transiting Mars won't actually conjoin Antares (10 Sagittarius) until Oct. 21

Huge turnout for Catalan independence rally

From BBC News:
"Some 1.5 million people have been taking part in Catalonia's annual independence rally in Barcelona, according to police. Tens of thousands of people poured into the city waving the region's independence flag and brandishing the colours red and yellow.

This year's march aimed to be the biggest ever - and a protest against the Spanish government's tax laws. Catalonia wants Madrid to review its tax agreement and provide a bailout.

The size of the turnout for the rally, which is held annually on 11 September to mark the Siege of Barcelona 300 years ago, forced organisers to change its route.

Alfred Bosch, an MP from the Republican left of Catalonia, told the BBC: "All the flags I can see are the pro-independence flags of Catalonia with the lonely star right in the middle of the triangle. And everybody is wearing these flags. I have never seen so many pro-independence flags in my all life."

Protester Teresa Cabanes told Reuters: "This is a blow for the government. People like me came from everywhere. I don't think they were expecting something as big."

The huge volume of people overwhelmed the mobile phone network, which shut down for hours as a result."
From Mundane Charts 2
The second of seven exact Uranus-Pluto squares on Sept. 19 is sharply focused in Spain, where the spirit of empowered revolution for social change and self-determination is playing out on a massive scale.

And an expression of the Uranus-Pluto world transit in the natural world: Guatemala volcanic eruption forces mass evacuation

Archetypal Pluto is the god of the underworld and related to earthquakes, volcanoes, and upheaval. The first stage of the ongoing Uranus-Pluto square is firstly Plutonian, dealing with breakdowns that are ultimately transformative and regenerative- while embracing Uranian opportunities to free ourselves from limiting patterns, as existing structures are shattered.

A quote from "Healing Pluto Problems" by Donna Cunningham:
‎"Why Does it Hurt So Much? Alan Watts said, 'To resist change, to try to cling to life, is like holding your breath; if you persist, you kill yourself.' The question of why transformation hurts so much goes back to the old distinction between the personality level and the spiritual level. On the personality level, the Pluto transit may be hell to go through. On the soul level, it may be the best thing that's every happened to you. We need to learn to see with our inner eyes, not the outer. There is a purpose for the pain, but our range of vision is very limited, especially when we are immersed in the problem. The world of appearances judges these transits and finds them bad because they hurt. We suffer from spiritual and emotional myopia, not being able to see far enough to grasp the reason for the pain or what transition it is bringing. We are heading toward health but we don't recognize the turning around. It's like having an operation; we are cutting out some diseased part of the body that has been draining our health. Right after the operation it hurts like anything, but the body is already beginning to heal. That's what Pluto is like."

Milky Way Over the Bungle Bungles

From Images 108
Which part of this picture do you find more interesting -- the land or the sky? Advocates for the land might cite the beauty of the ancient domes of the Bungle Bungle Range in Western Australia. These picturesque domes appear as huge layered beehives and are made of sandstones and conglomerates deposited over 350 million years ago. Advocates for the sky might laud the beauty of the Milky Way's central band shown arching from horizon to horizon. The photogenic Milky Way band formed over 10 billion years ago and now includes many well-known nebulae and bright stars. Fortunately, you don't have to decide and can enjoy both together in this beautiful 8-frame panorama taken from the dark skies of Purnululu National Park about two months ago. (APOD)

Two Earthquakes in China

Earthquakes shake south-west China's Yunnan
Two 5.6 magnitude earthquakes struck the same area of China less then an hour apart. The second event shows the Moon's Nodes on the local horizon and Neptune- mythic ruler of quakes, in a critical position. Both quake charts have a Scorpio Ascendant. The 7.6 earthquake a few days ago near the Costa Rican coast had the event Ascendant at 0 Scorpio with Neptune parallel by declination.
From Asia & Mideast
The fixed water sign Scorpio will become activated more and more this year. Mars is currently transiting Scorpio from Aug. 23 till Oct. 6. And the Moons North Node of manifest destiny recently moved into Scorpio for a period of roughly one and a half years. Saturn (checks and balances) enters Scorpio on Oct. 5 for a two and one half year sojourn. While the biggest eclipse of 2012- the total solar eclipse of Nov. 13 falls at 22 Scorpio.

Scorpio is a no-nonsense sign that demands authenticity at all cost, and is drawn to face the shadow elements of the personal or collective psyche by choice or circumstance. Conditions may get tougher, as may our resolve to get through them and overcome all obstacles by willful determination.

Airglow over Italy

From Images 108
In this serene night skyscape, the Milky Way's graceful arc stretches over prominent peaks in the Italian Alps known as Tre Cime di Lavaredo. A 180 degree wide-angle panorama made in four exposures on August 24, the scene does look to the north and the sky is suffused with an eerie greenish light. Still, the subtle glowing bands are not aurorae, but airglow. Unlike aurorae powered by collisions with energetic charged particles and seen at high latitudes, airglow is due to chemiluminescence, the production of light in a chemical reaction, and found around the globe. The chemical energy is provided by the Sun's extreme ultraviolet radiation. Like aurorae, the greenish hue of this airglow does originate at altitudes of 100 kilometers or so dominated by emission from excited oxygen atoms. More easily seen near the horizon, airglow keeps the night sky from ever being completely dark. (APOD)

Airglow over Germany

From Images 108
Does air glow? It does, but it is usually hard to see. When conditions are right, however, a faint glow about 90 kilometers up can be observed, most easily with a wide-angle long-duration camera exposure. The same airglow can also frequently be seen looking down -- in pictures taken from Earth orbit -- as a faint arc hovering above the surface. Pictured above between the beige clouds, above the curving Earth, behind the streaking airplane, and in front of the sparkling stars are some green bands of airglow. The glow is predominantly created by the excitation of atoms by ultraviolet light from the Sun, with the bands resulting from density fluctuations caused by upward moving atmospheric gravity waves. The above image was taken in mid-July above Weikersheim, Germany. Lightning and aurorae can also cause air to glow, but result from particle collisions and are more fleeting. (APOD)

Stellar Insights ~ September 2012

The first half of September seems relatively mellow with no major disruptions or upsets. But after the Virgo New Moon (23 Virgo) on the 15th, the intensity level gets turned up big-time as Pluto stations-direct Sept. 17, after being retrograde since April 10. And then the second exact Uranus-Pluto square (the first was June 24) perfects a few days later, which portends mass awakenings and revolutionary upheaval for next 3 years- marking a paradigm shift of social unrest and change. On Sept. 29 the Aries Full Moon (7 Aries) activates the epic Uranus-90-Pluto, so personal and/or collective drama may be hard to avoid unless we heed the cosmic message to release that which is unsustainable in it's current form and embrace new possibilities. (This intense Full Moon is sharply focused in the Syrian capital of Damascus.) Unfortunately, both the US government and financial sector are corrupt and unwilling to deal with systemic problems, so perhaps crisis in this country is inevitable given the hubris of those in power.*

Pluto and the Moons fateful North Node are tightly parallel by declination (similar to a conjunction) as Uranus and Pluto square, and we anticipate some powerful mega-events later this Sept. that affect a large mass of people.

The Autumnal or Fall Equinox is on 22 September, when the Sun directly overhead the Equator divides the day into equal night and day hours. In mundane (world-political) astrology, the chart for the Fall Equinox is called the Libra ingress- cast for the time the Sun moves into the sign of Libra.

Solar Storms Can Cause Power Grids to Fail

A solar storm caused a power failure in Quebec in 1989. Another solar flare apparently caused a power failure in New Zealand in 2001.

"The American Geophysical Union in Washington D.C. released a story yesterday suggesting the sun does have the capability of disrupting electrical systems on Earth – not just at high latitudes (near Earth’s poles) as happened in Québec in 1989 – but also at lower latitudes. How does the sun do this? The source of the potential disruption is solar flares, which are powerful releases of energy from the sun – and their subsequent coronal mass ejections (CMEs), which are massive burst of solar wind and magnetic fields released into space, sometimes headed Earth’s way.

We humans on Earth are at no danger from solar flares and CMEs. Earth’s atmosphere protects us, and, in fact, earthly life has evolved under the influence of these events for billions of year. But there’s been an increasing awareness that perhaps science should evaluate the potential impact of a flare event on earthly technologies, especially electric power grids."

Heads Up! The Writer's Astrological Almanac

By Kathy Watts ~ September 2012

Welcome to the heart of Virgo, a time when we want softer voices, softer touches, and better attention to detail. Not that we get everything we want.

Still, we open up the month on Saturday (Saturn's day) with the Moon in Pisces, making a trine to Venus and then going void of course in the afternoon. It's a lot of touchy feeling, and it deserves some respect. Remember this all month long. An hour after the Venus trine, Mercury exactly opposes Neptune. Wild ungrounded schemes and ideas will have trouble defending themselves, but we can have a lot of fun
talk. Later that night, the Moon moves into Aries. Feel more animated in the second half of the weekend (which I guess should include Monday, it being Labor Day in the US).

Sun Sep 02 the Moon conjuncts Uranus in Aries. Let your independent spirit shine, especially in small subtle ways.

Tue Sep 04 the Moon is in Taurus when Mercury trines Pluto. Be patient with yourself and persistent in your work. There's no need to rush doing anything.

Wed Sep 05 the Moon is in Taurus all day. Work at a slow steady trudge and get a lot done, most of it in a darn near finished state. Mercury trines Mars very early in the morning. Two minutes later, the Moon opposes Mars and trines Mercury. No, this isn't permission to be hyper. Have a list or otherwise be organized. It doesn't matter how slow you go. We're getting a month of Wednesdays with the Moon in fixed signs so keep that list handy and chip away at it, undistracted.

Thu Sep 06 Venus changes signs and moves into glamorous Leo.This has to be good for writing fashion, society, and even gossip columns. Or romances. You get the idea. That night, the Moon moves into the mercurial sign of Gemini. Write, write, write. Remember to stay organized and make the most of it from now till Sunday morning. It's a good long stretch of time, even if it is over the weekend.

Sat Sep 08 the Moon conjuncts Jupiter in Gemini (occults it, really). Your words can be your good luck, so socialize with attention and with gracious care. Eleven hours later Mercury squares Jupiter. Remember to think 'good' and careful' rather than 'big.'

Mon Sep 10 the Moon is in cozy (and sometimes crazy) Cancer when the Sun conjuncts Mercury. Don't expect a lot of logical thinking today. On the plus side, put some of those emotional hits into the appropriate fictional setting and you'll write a zinger!

Wed Sep 12 the Moon conjuncts Venus in Leo. If you're not writing something with glamourous content, at least wear something stunning at your desk, even if no one sees you.

Fri Sep 14 the Moon enters Virgo, preparing for tomorrow's New Moon. Heads Up. Otherwise, it's a pretty benign day. A little charm can go a long way. Have a pleasant and powerful weekend; just be careful.

Sat Sep 15 is the New Moon at 23Vir. Start something that you can work on in manageable bits. Maybe better still, restart some long abandoned but almost finished project and polish it to brilliance. Take the whole month. Feel good about it but brag only to intimate friends and writer buddies. Virgo likes modesty.

Sun Sep 16 the Moon conjuncts Mercury in Virgo (that it rules, by the way, and being in the very last degree of its homesign, Mercury should be very very strong). The Moon then goes void of course. About twelve hours later, Mercury moves on and enters the sign of Libra. The whole writer/editor confabulation may vaporize and your attention turn to society, networking, and maybe even entertaining. Invite a writer
friend over for coffee, or say yes and go if you're invited. You don't have to linger all day.

Tue Sep 18 the Moon conjuncts Saturn (in the next to the last degree of Virgo). You can use this to regain some of that editing momentum, or make that one phone call, email, or text that requires extra consideration and respect. The Moon then goes void of course for four hours, finally entering Libra. The Moon may bring people or their interruptions to you. You can reply instantly, or, you know, let them leave a message.

Wed Sep 19 the Moon conjuncts Mars. In Scorpio (that traditional astrologers say is ruled by Mars). Is that enough fire in the belly for one day? Keep the tea (or coffee) hot and blast away.

Thu Sep 20 the Moon is in Sagittarius when Mercury opposes Uranus and an hour later squares Pluto. Concentrate on the Sagittarius part and don't be perturbed or knocked off balance by any small short-lived disturbances.

Fri Sep 21 the Moon is in Sagittarius all day. Enjoy this, because it's also the last day of the Sun in Virgo. Tomorrow the world be a bit brighter, maybe a bit more charming and friendly though not necessarily any kinder or nicer. Heads Up. Use this last day of Virgo to edit something important, correct some error or flaw, or make that one important phone call or email. You may want to start something tomorrow, too, so get those notes down, or at least collected up out of the ornamental goldfish bowl or wherever.

Sat Sep 22 the Moon is still in Sagittarius when the Sun enters Libra. The Sun is now a guest in the house of Venus. Good manners can get better results this month. Dress nicely and eat with the proper fork. (It's amazing how this can impress people, isn't it?) Two hours later, the Moon goes void of course until entering Capricorn two hours later. The Moon in Capricorn on a Saturday can be a lot of Saturn influence but it doesn't have to clash with the new brighter Libra/Venus energy. Smile and have some safe, productive fun this weekend.

Sun Sep 23 the Moon conjuncts Pluto in Capricorn. You know, it might be a good day to spend with some older friends, maybe listen to an old story or two that deserve to be retold. Just a thought.

Wed Sep 26 the Moon is in Aquarius when Mercury trines Jupiter. Do something pleasant and fun with this. It can be big or conspicuous, if you need that. The Moon will be in cool collected big-thinking Aquarius almost all day, going void of course after an evening trine with Saturn. You can work on something expansive and popular without getting gushy. Only two hours later, the Moon will enter Pisces. Relax
and dream deep after a somewhat flashy and productive day.

Thu Sep 27 the Moon conjuncts Neptune in Pisces. Wake up refreshed and full of inspiration.

Sat Sep 29 the Sun opposes Uranus in the very early morning. You may wake with little interest or tolerance for clever but vapid coolness. Six hours later, the Moon conjuncts Uranus in Aries. Independent speech and thought will be more attractive now, especially when it's your own. An hour and half later is the Full Moon at 07Aries. Shine with your own true light all the coming month long, shine for yourself and for others. You don't have to be abrasive about it, either. You're
being given a lot of energy with this Full Moon. Be daring, enthusiastic, and productive.

While September came in quietly, perhaps subdued and intimidated, it's going out with a flash and a bang. Enjoy the quiet aspects and focus on your work, making it perfect, because you can make it perfect. Or at least, make it to your own precise satisfaction. You know what warms your heart and makes you smile. By the end of September, it should be able to make you absolutely grin and put a light in your
eyes that no critic can dim. Have a high-powered, steady, gritty gorgeous month and don't bother looking back. Look forward, to next month, next project, next year, the next word to leave your fingers and enter the world. Heads Up!
