To the Micmac Indians living in southeast Canada, a Celestial Bear – our same familiar Big Dipper pattern – coming down to Earth signaled the start of hibernation season.
Of course, the Sun is in the sign of Scorpio for the first 3 weeks of November every year. But the total solar eclipse @ 22 Scorpio on Nov. 13 is intensifying the archetypal themes of harvest, purging, and clearing away the dead wood- in preparation for a new cycle of growth. This cathartic purging process is not only occurring in the natural world, but on a deeper emotional or psycho-spiritual level of consciousness as well.
