The Sun enters Scorpio

The Sun moves into the sign of Scorpio tonight at 5:14 pm, PDT. And the Uranus-Pluto square which reflects the trendng revolutionary and regenerative changes to outworn structures, may directly inform events in SF and California for the next month. Generally speaking, the annual passage of the Sun through Scorpio marks the time of harvest, All Hallows Eve, and the Mexican celebration known as Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos). The process of death, rebirth, and renewal is associated with Scorpio- signified by both a Scorpion and Eagle.

The tight opposition between Mars (lord of Scorpio) and Jupiter reflects the positive spirit of successful enterprise- or overly aggressive expansionism.

The SF Giants play a do-or-die (Scorpio) game tonight with the St. Louis Cardinals. Go Giants!
