Stellar Insights ~ September 2012

The first half of September seems relatively mellow with no major disruptions or upsets. But after the Virgo New Moon (23 Virgo) on the 15th, the intensity level gets turned up big-time as Pluto stations-direct Sept. 17, after being retrograde since April 10. And then the second exact Uranus-Pluto square (the first was June 24) perfects a few days later, which portends mass awakenings and revolutionary upheaval for next 3 years- marking a paradigm shift of social unrest and change. On Sept. 29 the Aries Full Moon (7 Aries) activates the epic Uranus-90-Pluto, so personal and/or collective drama may be hard to avoid unless we heed the cosmic message to release that which is unsustainable in it's current form and embrace new possibilities. (This intense Full Moon is sharply focused in the Syrian capital of Damascus.) Unfortunately, both the US government and financial sector are corrupt and unwilling to deal with systemic problems, so perhaps crisis in this country is inevitable given the hubris of those in power.*

Pluto and the Moons fateful North Node are tightly parallel by declination (similar to a conjunction) as Uranus and Pluto square, and we anticipate some powerful mega-events later this Sept. that affect a large mass of people.

The Autumnal or Fall Equinox is on 22 September, when the Sun directly overhead the Equator divides the day into equal night and day hours. In mundane (world-political) astrology, the chart for the Fall Equinox is called the Libra ingress- cast for the time the Sun moves into the sign of Libra.

Sept. 5 Update: A powerful 7.6 earthquake struck off the coast of Costa Rica today. The event Ascendant = 0 Scorpio with Neptune parallel by declination (similar to a conjunction). Neptune/Poseidon is the mythic god/planet of the sea and earthquakes.
