RIP Heath Ledger

KT, The Astrologer* on Heath Ledger's tragic death.

"I was stunned to hear just now of the death of fellow Aussie Heath Ledger. He starred in movies such as The Patriot, Monster’s Ball and Brokeback Mountain, and completed the role of The Joker in the next Batman film. Heartbreakingly, he has a two year old daughter, Matilda with ex fiancé Michelle Williams whom was his co-star in Brokeback Mountain.

The most obvious astrological influence you notice in his transit chart is he is going through his Saturn return. Saturn turned retrograde exactly on his natal Saturn December 19th. If his death wasn’t an accident it seems his troubles really hit around the Saturn retrograde. I’ve always said that the Saturn return is a time when we officially become an adult. It’s our grown up rite of passage after we have learned the lessons of Saturn. It appears his lessons may have been too hard."

Not only was Ledger experiencing his Saturn return, but Saturn was transiting natal Venus, as well- which coincided with his split from Michelle Williams, the mother of his young daughter.

The transit of Uranus to Heath's Nodes that began in the Spring, had probably stirred feelings of unrest, and then the heaviness of Saturn kicked-in. We can only speculate if he took his own life or not. In retrospect- it seems the 9/11/07 solar eclipse on Heath's North Node, foreshadowed a fateful turn of destiny.
